Are you out of direction? Fake it :-)

One of my favorite bands, Seether, has a new album with the flagship song: “Fake It.” It’s an amazing song not just because it sounds great but because of the lyrics. I remember listening to Bruce Firestone (the Ottawa Senators Founder) when he mentioned that although from the outside, it seemed like he knew what he was doing all along, he was just making it up every step of the way. There are valuable lessons to be learned from Seether. Watch the video

I saw Seether supporting Evanescence..and was distinctly underwhelmed by them live, I always felt they were trying to achieve success on the back of Amy Lee (no pun intended) This song is okay, though the gratuitous booty shaking is reminiscent of rap videos, I m sure there’ll be some ‘artistic’ reason for it though….Whats really worrying is, the legion of bands spawned in the wake of Nirvana (Seether included) are all staring to sound dangerously generic, excatly the trap the rock bands they deposed fell into….next music trend, anyone?
