hmm… Apparently gmail is experiencing delays in receiving incoming messages… The first signs of this came from dreamhost:

” Right now we are experiencing some slowdowns sending emails to Google’s GMail service. This only appears to be affecting mail being forwarded through our systems, and not sending directly through an email client using our mail servers. We believe the slowdown to be on Google’s end, however we are actively investigating the situation to see if there’s something wrong on our end causing the slowdown.”

But, it seems the problem is in more places than one…

I just sent my gmail account an email from a yahoo account… an hour later, there is still no sign of the email…

I’m not sure how widespread this issue is but a few discussions on the internet have started about this in the past couple of hours…

is anyone else having the same problem?
